Student project
The brief given was to freely create a piece based on a historical part of Melbourne. The Unholy Trinity features the secret tales from three of Melbourne's infamous brothels of the 19th Century. The project took 2 weeks and 117 publications just for research and referencing. The pages are french folded, printed both sides on translucent paper and stitched together. The book cover resembles a corset, in which the reader will have to slowly undress the layers to get to the stories - as if one had to slowly unravel a tightly guarded secret piece by piece.
